ITS TERRIBLE.Its not in the same league as BLIC.

How can you even call this a good game. I ve got it on XBOX. (I Know). So Im stuck with 10 over matches and the odd 20/20. You cant score any runs. Its impossible to 6 hit becuase you need to build confidence. And with such a terrible third umpire running singles (To build up your confidence) is a BIG RISK.

Bowling is so boring. The batsmen do things that the AI wouldnt let you do if you were batting. For example. When your batting if you hit a straight drive into the stumps at the other end. And run the fielder will run in and throw the ball to the wickeys end and run you out. BUT. When I bowl. The same thing happens except that the fielder doesnt bother to run out the batsman running to the wicket keepers end.

Heres so other gripes:

-The ball never slows down in the outfield.
-Players (Fielders) run past the ball way to often.
-Impossible to BAT.Full stop.
-Bowling is boring
-Spinners hardley turn the ball. Even if spin stats are 100.
-And why is all the names in reverse alphebetical order.
-Nothing EVER GOES TO SLIPS

If you gave Codies the licences for the county sides NO ONE would buy Crappit 2005. But the other way round. Lara STILL outsells Cricket 2005.

A message to EA. Sell the licences so us cricket fans can actually play on a game that is more interesting that watching grass grow. BRAIN LARA

Thats cause your ****, stuff always goes to slips, the ball aways slows down, battings easy with practise, its not crap, its just not good! same as BLIC really...

I like EA 2005, it's almost perfect with the patches and AI, it's a proper sim unlike BLIC which is an arcade type of game.

It's true. I spend far longer modding games than playing them...
I love test matches on BLIC though. The pacing is fantastic; if they could combine county bowling and test batting it would be perfect. The trouble is, at the moment, the computer can't bat properly on test level.
