Keeper Edges

Hi everyone

As you can see I am new here but I have been playing cricket 2005 for a while now. I would just like to know if their is a special way to get edges that go to the keeper? I can usually get a few edges in an innings but they go to the slips.

hi mate,

there is no one way to get edges to go just to the keeper just keep doing what your doing to get the edges eventually the keeper will take some just keep bowling good line and length just outside off stump and vary speed and length every now and then.

yeah i agree bowl on or around off stump then every now and then vary the pace or swin and vary the deliverys works for me on hard so it should work on any other mode hope this helps..

Good to hear..

I try bowl a tight line around off stump and get the occasional ball to seam or swing away. Thats how I get most of the keeper catches. I don't think i've ever got one from a spinner though, unless its a sweep gone wrong.

i got one caught behind by a spinner with ashley giles. I tossed one up well outside off stump, the batsmen played a cover drive and thick edge caught.
