Kenya start their tour next week. They are particiapting in the Carib Beer Cup, the West Indies domestic first class competition. This tour is being seen as an important part of Kenya's preperation for Test status.

Schedule

(All matches are 4 day games)

January 9th: West Indies B at Edgar Gilbert Park, St Kitts
January 16th: Leeward Islands at Webster Park, Anguilla
January 23rd: Trinidad & Tobago at Tobago
January 30th: Jamaica at National Stadium, Grenada
February 6th: Barbados at Windward Grounds, Barbados
February 12th: Windward Islands at Arnos Vale, St Vincent
February 19th: Guyana at Bourda, Guyana

There will also be the Semi Finals and Final of the competition if required, as well as a ODI series against the West Indies, still to be scheduled.

i think this will be really good 4 the kenyans to get them ready for the step up 2 test cricket. they should do well coz after all they r the 4th best 1 day team

good work by kenya, only lost by 12 runs today and that is a sign of improvment for test, they played well bowling, but havent got the hang of batting as i feel looking at the card they may be trying to play like odis and lost wickets, moreover andrew how come sachin got banned??

Kenya drew their latest match in the Carib Beer Cup in an incredibly high scoring game in which Maurice Odumbe became the first Kenyan to score a first-class 200.
