:D

As part of a publicity stunt for our 2012 olympic bid Kevin attempted to hit a cricket ball accross a 180M stretch of the London River.

He did hit the ball 122M though. :D The Average cricket boundary is about 70M.

KP is a very good player but I do wonder if prehaps we may be putting a bit too much on him. His leg side play seems to be a major weakness as well as his strength and to me he won't make it where it matters, at Test level.

But he is becoming a cricketing icon yes.

Barry Bonds - A baseball player, he did this alot of times in his game and sended the ball out in the river
(or lake?), out of the stadium - He does this most the time when he hits a home-run!!!

Im not sure anyone in cricket could clear that kind of distance without real pace on the ball, he wasn't wearing pads so the ball must have been firing out not too fast

Most of his runs in the ODIs vs RSA came on the legside.

Although Thorpe>Pieterson for the Ashes. :cheers
