If KKR have a set off brains, they'll open with Gambhir and Uthappa with Lynn at 3. I think this Narine opening move worked against a down and out RCB. When he comes up against quality, the tail will hide between the legs!! I also feel GG just has to open. He basically can't bat anywhere else. Uthappa is at risk of losing his rhythm due to this changing and chopping along with the disappointment of losing out on the CT spot. Lynn can bat anywhere and I actually feel 3 really suits his style. I just get the feeling that all this shuffling may have lead to a little uncertainty in the KKR ranks. My team?

The thing is Uthappa doesn't want to open. I think he said that in the previous IPL or I was the one who heard it differently.

I like to disagree. If he was playing like Gayle wasting balls first and then hitting I would have agreed with you but he is not wasting balls and if he doesn't clicks and gets out early KKR are not losing anything big but if he clicks he is giving them a wondrous start.

Being a KKR rival(not really a rival, they are clear underdogs, 15-5). I feel Lynn and GG can do wonders while opening. My XI for them

I don't think Narine can take the pressure at the bottom. He can hit open minded-ly in the opening overs.

Narine should continue as opener. If we lose him early, GG is there at 3 for stability. And the quality player he is, one down shouldn't hurt his performance. Currently he's just messed up for missing CT. He'll be back tomorrow!!
