laptop hangs

i have major problem...
ashes cricket is not running on my laptop.When the game starts,as soon as bowler delivers the ball and i try to hit it ,the laptop hangs.


my laptop specifications :
Windows 7
laptop: dell xps
Ram: 4 GB
Nvidia 420m 1 GB dedicated graphics card
Intel Core i5-460M proccesor

I have the exact same problem, my laptop hangs on a black screen or I get the BSOD and it restarts. I've seen many people with the same problem but no solution has been suggested.

I have:
Windows 7
Intel Core i3 CPU 380M @ 2.53 GHz
4.00 RAM
Intel HD Graphics Card 1696MB memory

I solved this problem..............after 2 months...

following the instructions:

1.. right click on ac09 game icon..
2.. choose the option '' run with graphics processor ''..
3.. you will see 2 more options..
4.. select your dedicated high-performance graphics processor..

Enjoy the game!

note: Intel HD graphics are not dedicated graphics, it's integrated graphics

hey but where is this run with graphics processor option when i right click on ashes 09 it has run with administrator or troubleshooting compatibility etc. but it doesn't feature run with graphics processor option anywhere!!!
where is this option dude help!!

ashes 2009 hangs

but the same cracked version runs really well in my friend's pc which has nvidia 7300 card but it hangs on the first ball in my case so i don't think cracked version is an issue....please tell me a solution so that i can play the game properly...should i tweak the compatibility settings or anything else please help???
