leaving the ball when batting

why is it so difficult to let the ball go to the wickey without the batsmen losing confidence ?

if anyone knows how to do it propley, id appreciate it .

Move the batsmen accross and defend i would have thought.

Move to the ball and defend, there is no way to actually leave the ball without losing confidence

i have used the defend button once and he left the ball, and didn't lose confidence every other time he tries to block it and misses and loses confidence

that isn't a very good part of the game at all
