Ah FFS, was looking to nab it off there as my gamepass had expired.

Some explanations I have seen are they can't justify the price yet for gaming. As we all know compare to other markets prime is chump change in India.

Paradox did the same with Crusader Kings 2. Maybe they do it with 3 too when it has like15 dlcs.
