Hi all,

I've been working on a 2D arcade/sim cricket game (similar to Final Over that never appeared on the Amiga) on and off for the last few months. It's at the point where the player can actually play a complete inning against the computer/another human but I'd like to improve the presentation before uploading a demo. Here are the current features:

* left-/right-handed batsman
* left-/right-handed bowlers
* variable pitches (bounce/seam/spin)
* bowling styels: fast/medium/swing bowlers/seam bowlers/offspin bowlers/legspin bowlers
* shots: cut/pull/off-drive/straight-drive/backfoot defensive/frontfoot defensive/on-drive
* forceful lofted shots (can loft with ordinary shots too)
* scoring: fours/sixes/runs/leg-byes/byes/wides/no-balls
* dismissals: bowled/lbw/run-outs/caught (edges too)
* AI fielding - judges catches, runs around boundary, chases balls, etc.
* AI bowling - tries to adjust to how player scoring

Hey everyone, I *am* still working on the game. Just trying to finish up the menus and I'll put up a little demo. It might not have CPU batting but at least you'll be able to bat out an inning.

Hey everyone,

this project is still alive btw Just added automatic field adjustment/selection for the CPU. It uses all the classic fielding positions and seems to work quite well :P I'll be fixing up the CPU bowling and will then upload a demo for comment.
