Lord of the Rings Mafia - Town wins

Chewie is probably dreaming now..

I am waiting for Yudi to cast his opinion, he hasnt been useful at all so far.

As far as I know Yudi isn't normally an inactive player. I'd rather lynch someone who was suspicious than someone who was totally inactive on day 1. There's more of a random element if you do it purely based on activity (although as has been observed mafia often try to sit back and let things unfold early on).

On the flipside he's been posting elsewhere in the forum so it's not like he's really busy or away or anything.

Difficult choice really. Inactive could be busy rather than mafia and suspicious could be n00b rather than mafia.

:wave

Mark's suggestion that mafia are the inactive ones is one I don't agree with. I'd think that mafia would post more than usual if anything to try get suspicion away from themselves and try to blend in more.

I don't see much point for continuing my lynch of Spoobir so Unlynch: Spoobir

With the bandwagoning, it's a common mafia thing. They would however bandwagon on anyone, especially other mafia, so that they seem townie, if that person turns out to be mafia. Someone who just bandwagons the whole game is basically being active while not really contributing anything. So FOS: Mark

With AP, I'm more hesitant to lynch him based on a few noob things. There's nothing outright scummy about his actions, apart from suspecting Bevab after he role-claimed, but even then, that's a thing that mafia wouldn't do.

Yudi's being targeted for not being active, which is a good way to get them to post, but there's no point in lynching him off at the end of the day, just because he's inactive.

I also don't like people targeting Sachinfan just because this is his first game. He seems like a good contributer and lynching him for no real reason is really weird. FOS: Hedger

I think overall, Mark has acted the weirdest. Lynch: Mark

Read through the pages. Either AngryPixel is too confused or is trying to confuse us. He removes his lynch from Bevab but still says he is suspicious of him. ATM, Bevab is probably the only confirmed townie as nobody CCed him.

I'm also getting suspicious of Mark for exactly the same reason Chewie just mentioned. Mark is just chipping in with some posts which are of no help tbh. I have never seen him play a mafia game but I still feel that he is acting too weird.

FOS: AngryPixel, Mark

Lynching me for inactivity and then expecting me to post won't help the cause. I usually give my views when I'm online on PlanetCricket, irrespective of the fact whether I'm being targeted or not.

Looks like we're heading towards no lynch.

Very difficult to pick anyone out and I can't see anyone getting 11 votes before tomorrow night.

Regarding Mark in the games I've seen he jumps on bandwagons whether he is mafia or not. As I said earlier in the thread there is something to be said for it too. Without a bit of bandwagoning you can't apply any pressure and the mafia are ultimately the ones who benefit. I'd be much more suspicious of anyone who bandwagoned late and hammered.

I feel at a bit of a dead end tbh. Yudi has joined in and so has Chewie and I'm not convinced AP is mafia even though I have a lynch on him.

Maybe we should pick a random number and kill someone that way :p

Don't need to worry about Mark, he just plays like that. Survivor like. He can be valuable later on if he's town.

Hedger hasn't posted much as well.

My lynch on Culli stays until he posts. It doesn't matter though, since we're probably going to end up with a no lynch.

yea looks like a no lynch day 1, we should've just hammered in AP or sachin fan. Got side tracked from the bandwagons.

As for suspicion on me, whatever, if people don't jump on day 1 bandwagons then no one gets lynched. I was just trying to avoid exactly what is about to happen, a no lynch day 1

Should we spend the rest of the day debating on the merits-demerits of a no lynch and a bandwagon? :p

AP has 6 votes so we might at least be able to force him towards a roleclaim with some more bandwagoning. Hopefully he's not another vital character. :facepalm

Well, I've read a bit. I'm not sure about Bevab's claim. I mean, I agree he hasn't been countered. But, doesn't it seem that he's trying a bit too much by telling the doc (directly/indirectly) to protect him? Suppose, he is lying and there is another player who is Frodo, he is not revealing himself as he as an important one? Just a wild guess, this can be the case where mafia might have asked Bevab to do this...
