I was mafia with you then, it was Funky IIRC. You happened to get mod-killed soon after though, which kind of stuffed our plan up...

yea but you guys still won. I'm not of the opinion that you lose once you are dead. If mafia win and I was mafia then I share in that success, regardless of being alive or dead. It's impossible for a side to win without losing players. And I was only modkilled because whoever ran that game could not take a harmless rep joke.
So going by your philosophy you have about a 75% chance of "winning" if you're mafia and about 25% if you're town-aligned.
I reckon you can claim some credit if you've called the play and are killed on like day 5 but otherwise you're got to be there at the end.
