Lord of the Rings Mafia - Town wins

As it turned out I didn't get too drunk. Finished the intimate times with the missus so:

I am yet to lynch because it's quite clear that this day at least I'm on the back foot; any sort of bandwagon-jumping I guess would look suspicious so I'm trying for the next day or two to lie low. However if we're forcing a lynch then I would be doing town a disservice. Although I can't help but feel BKB has maybe let slip his role by assuming a hammer from himself, perhaps the princess, or whatever it's called?

Just realised I left myself logged on viewing the thread the whole time I was out. Probably shouldn't post sincee I've had a few, just want to say extended pub opening hours during the festival are a godsend, no need to go for some horrible pint in a club if you want to drink till 3. :thumbs :cheers

I'm really going to regret typing this tomorrow...

So you're not going to vote and bandwagon jump just because it would look suspicious?? To me that seems incredibly scummy...

Also, Treva you forgot to take my vote off Zohaib

Don't worry, I'm still posting even though I've had a few :D

What are you upto Yudi?

Would like to hear some proper defences from you before I lynch you.

You do look suspicious Aditya my friend ;) I think Colin has said a lot in his last couple of posts to put some pressure on Yudi, he really is playing a strange game, maybe a bit of an inexperienced mafia player? Either way I still don't trust Ben, by his own admission he has dug his own grave.

Age is getting on you, you're starting to be kind/emotional or Colin is teaching you manners while playing Golf. :p I tell you, this guy Colin is well organized. :p

@Colin - That's what I wanted you to post, your views on the game and that too a detailed one. Since that post we have got some discussion going which is good to see.

In Yudi's case, whatever the reason is - my lynch stays on him. He's been very inactive and I do understand that it gets frustrating to read so many pages to get involved in the game again although you have been pretty inactive but then it's always better to lynch off a inactive members than a experienced player because a inactive member wont contribute much to the discussion anyway.

@Bevab - You have been pretty quite as well. You have already role claimed, you have got nothing to hide. You can be more active, this is a great game for you to learn about mafia games. :)

So we are going for Yudi now?
Unlynch:Zohaib
Lynch:Yudi

Well I had my reasoning on Culli so Im giving that same thing on Yudi. Also, it seems fun to jump on bandwagons.:p

Believe me, it's only fun at the starting of the game. Once the game progresses to day 3 or day 4, it wont be much fun to jump on the bandwagon because then the serious game starts and even the experienced members get under the suspicious list.

Ok, I was just kidding. You took that comment too seriously.
Yudi seriously needs to post.Too inactive

I didn't took the comment too seriously. As this is your first game, I was just telling you that as the game progresses, jumping on the bandwagon doesn't really help.

Why can't I get into this mafia game? I find it tiring going through all this. Anyway, I'll let Yudi talk and I'm not going to lynch him as there is a good chance there will be a double voter in there. And I'm also finding Sachinfan98 pretty suspicious in a lot of his posts. My memory is horrible so I forget a lot of them but he seems content to jump on every bandwagon and even says that, "it seems fun to jump on bandwagons :p" and he said something like that a few pages ago. So:

FOS: Sachinfan98

Lol, I return and see that all the suspicioun is on me, and for what, for being suspicious of barmyarmy! This guy is certainly trying to act as a leader and all are following him without even thinking once. :facepalm

Time for me to claim, I am - Arwen, Lady of Rivendell, Town-aligned.

So you're targeting me because my reason for lynching Zohaib was silly? It was a perfectly valid reason, especially as we had nothing else to go by at the time.
You're trying to defend yourself with a lame reason.

Well, to be honest, I'm clear on Colin. I don't think he's anti town. I don't know about those claims. Zohaib and Yudi, that is. People say Zohaib's claim is legit. So, I guess I'll take that. Now, I'd like to hear what they feel about Yudi.

The one I'm suspicious of is Spoobir.
Thing is, he indirectly is trying to get some or the other power roles exposed. Wanted a claim from someone, then asking Tom whether he has some role info about wanting to go for Maney and all that.

Well to me at least it's quite clear that Colin's poisoned. That means one of two things, a) he's a townie like he's claiming to be, or b) he poisoned himself in order to make it look like he's a townie.

The second option would be a big risk this early on, because I assume the mafia won't know who the healer/doc is at this stage, so (if MaD wasn't the roleblocker) the roleblocker has a chance of hitting what I assume is an unknown healer/doc to them, and Colin is a gone. Also the godfather could have killed the healer/doc last night (I assume Bilbo wasn't one), but if they had again Colin would be stuffed.

So taking all of this into consideration the first option looks the much more likely of the two. Of course that doesn't rule him out being a survivor, which I assume Gollum will be, but atm like Colin previously said we should be focusing on getting rid of mafia and not and possibly individuals like Maney.

Time for me to claim, I am - Arwen, Lady of Rivendell, Town-aligned.

Like I think I said before outside the main handful of hobbits/main fellowship people my knowledge is fairly limited, considering it's been a while since I last watches it. She's definitely a possibility to be in the game, but at the same time I would think that she'd only be borderline.

I'm not going to lynch him atm, because I'd like to hear what some others think about his claim.

----------

I don't want to edit my post, so the third paragraph third line should read:

"not possible individuals like Maney."

Arwen is a possible but not a definite. Would be a good mafia rc.
I'm still in favour of lynching Yudi because:
a) his reasons for lynching me on day 2 are poor
b) he isn't really following what's going on in the game and therefore isn't much use to the town.

I am of course open to other ideas...

Yudi, first of all, your defense (or whatever it is) for Zohaib is unjustified. He's played a hell lot of games, and still is clearly refusing to cooperate, and his excuse is, well, he is still inexperienced.

And I don't there was anything scummy in it when he annoyed me by saying he's inexperienced to analyze and I lynched him. Besides he's been using the 'inexperience' pretext for many a games, in two of which he was the serial killer.

Basically, you jumped on Colin's suspicions, and lynched Colin.

I won't still lynch you. Because more than mafia play, it just seems lack of careful evaluation of posts and irrational conclusions. Of course, it might be a very clever ploy.

I don't know what to do with the role-claim as well.
