Quite good atm esp. the Lara sig really good to see you using tuts i don't like the adventure one looks really lackluster tbh

Also there are people doing graphics as well so age isn't a matter i'm 13 btw also Tanmay at least say what's wrong and then don't say look at your thread as yor graphics are all the same thing except different backgrounds so 'my thread' is this http://www.planetcricket.org/forums/showthread.php?t=45799 just looks how i was at the beginning and where i am now also feel free to add me on MSN for tips

LOL i think he was talking to me about msn. Right?

Thanks for the feedback guys. I will do some later and post em.

People, please don't refer or post to trouble others only for them to see your works and comment. If they like, they will do. It's not that your thread is locked or something for others to post. Just do stuff, and you'll get the comments.

And coming to the topic, Macworld mate. You're really not bad at all. I just feel you need quite a few tips to make professional works. I can count on what i'm saying. ;)

Really, i saw that works you've posted earlier and you're like a man who just needs another plank of wood to lit the fire up.

KUTGW mate, looking forward to more of your works. :)..

Ok, first of Tammay dont advertise your thread in other peoples threads. Plus you didn't give him any contructive critisim at all you just said they are not attractive. The only reason you posted was so you could post your gfx thread in here to advertise.

Anyway onto Macworld. Dont worry if your sigs arent the greatest things in the world atm, you only just started. Practice is the key. I see you have used textures and light textures which is the key. Keep practising with them and practice your lighting. Do you know how to do lighting effects with the soft brush? Just get a 100pixel soft brush, any colour (white if you just wanna make some parts lighter) then brush in dots just around the render and set it to overlay, lighten, screen or colour dodge and lower the opacity :)

Remember, download textures and that and just practice, practice, practice!! (and follow tutorials :))

PS. I'm also 14 so if you wanna add me on msn feel free :)

Where can i download textures.

I have found a few sites, can you recommend some.

I go on www.footyarts.com a lot. Its a good gfx site and once you get 30 posts or something you can start getting textures and tutorials. The constructive critisim on there is good too. Some go on www.player-art.com i think it is. Footyarts has a section with links to other gfx forums and stuff so check out there. Plus deviantart.com is the best for downloading small packs and getting almost any texture you want. Search cloud stocks for really good clouds, wall stocks for walls and that. Grass stocks, building stocks... all these are good for background then like Grunge textures and abstract for the killer effect.

Hope this helps :)

Nice start mate, just keep following those tuts and don't be afraid to experiment. Also age doesn't matter just as long as you keep a passion. I am 12 and have been doing GFX for a few months before stopping for some reason. But it would be great for you if you get as much work posted as you can which will help you learn.

Go on mate, have some fun.

KUTGW
