I agree with Andrew 100%. I do care about her, but her parents are "playing" the media a bit - I just want to here that she is found - preferably alive, but I think that it is better if she is found dead in the next month than not at all for eternity...

i do find it pointless putting posters up all over the place surely the money could be used more effectively. Sadly shes not coming back either way imo.

I am not taking part in such a silly argument, i agree with both parties in a way....i just hope this innocent little girl is found asap, and that her parents learn the lesson of a stupid mistake and never do it again. and let it be a lesson to other parents out there too

Sorry for the bump but i can't stand the news so i'll just ask you Has that girls mum been arrested? I know shes in the town where i keep my jet ski and people talk about her as a suspect but surely she can't be considered a suspect after 100+ days. Looks like the polica are just clutching at straws and trying to diverte attention away from the fact they can't find anything to me

It's a farce that they parents weren't formally interviewed as suspects earlier on. And it's no coincidence that these interviews happen after the Police recieve results back from a lab, strongly rumoured to be blood of Maddy's in the hire car they hired 25 days after her 'disappearance'.

Of course the Portuguese system works very differently to how ours does, and it's quite confusing when they explained it earlier. She wasn't arrested, but her lawyer thinks she might be charged, and of course if she is charged then Gerry McCann could be charged as an accomplice. I've always thought Kate McCann was a bit odd, the way she clutched that teddy, perhaps out of guilt, the way she never talked to the camera's at the start.

I also thought it was suspicious at just how high profile they made it, unseen before.

I don't understand how someone can kill their kid. Admittedly she was a bit careless if shes innocent anyway but thats just inhuman. I saw her walking into the police station and she didn't look that upset which i thought was odd though.

I think the husband has something to do it. I'm obviously not going to give names but I know someone who knows him and this person said that Gerry McCann has a very very short temper, and I think they came home slightly drunk and he told her off and accidently killed her. He has also seemed to be controlling the wife quite a lot throughout this.

Also now they have both been named as suspects

My stepsister went to medical school with him and lives in the same area as him and went on holiday near them to just down the road in portugal and they'd just had a kid, weird! I can't imagine him doing all this if he accidentally killed her, couldn't he just say she got lost in the sea the next day or something?

look, you dont leave a 3/4 yr in hotel room by themsleves, its as simple as that, they could fall ot anything. the parents have definetley got something to do with it, i feel theyre covering something up here. its the parents fault and i have no sympathy for them whatsoever....

Rumours are that all this 'evidence' was a bluff to try and get the parents to admit to killing her because they have no other leads.The car which they say has the blood specs in is still been used by the McCanns why would they let them do this if it's a vital piece of evidence?
