@Riz - I have no idea when I'll start mine Just started working on it. There are a few ideas I'm keen to try out, but it's the balancing of things that might prove a little tricky.

I'm interested as usual. And I was planning on starting my Survivor mafia after this mafia finishes so is that alright with Zorax and Ollie?

It will just be a normal mafia though, rather than my previous ideas. It was just a bit too confusing.

Will it be based on one particular series, or will it be overall, or do you not want to reveal this?

Survivor Heroes vs Villains. I already stated it earlier but I didn't put it in the title. It's the best thing since there's two sides, vilains being mafia and heroes being town. Of course I've altered everything so that some vilains are actually town.

Can you give everyone safe fake character claims? Because more than the role-claims it's the character claims that are throwing people off in games like Pokemon or PC mafia. Not everyone has enough knowledge to make a suitable character claim and get picked on by those who do, bit of a game breaking tactic.

Well then doesnt the mafia get too strong? I mean look at the current game, it wasnt the character claims that got the mafia it was their roleclaims. Strong character claims makes it near impossible for the town.

Not really. There is still role-claiming. And then pressure regarding posts, slip ups, lynches, etc.

Don't worry, I had that all sorted out. I felt the same way as you and especially since it's only from one season with a vilains and heroes tribes, the mafia have pretty much got to claim as a hero, which is very hard since most of the heroes are already in this game. So yes, I've given the mafia fake character claims. I wasn't sure whether I should reveal that but oh well, at least everyone will know.

OK, I'm pretty much done with my roles now. Think I've got the balance just right as well. All's left to do is pretty much sort out some little niggles.

So, I'm pretty much ready. I'll start mine sometime after Hedger's Survivor Mafia has finished.

Also, if one of you experienced players is DEFINITLEY not going to be participating in mine, can I PM you the roles, so I can get your opinion on the balance? Thanks

Depends when it starts. My exams are in the middle of July. But I'd prefer to take part in yours than Hedger's because I don't know much about his theme.

Don't worry. Just look it up on wikipedia. It has an overview of each episode and all that, and most of the players have a link anyway so you can just link to them and get the background info. Anyway, I might open mine up tomorrow and get the signups, and hopefully by the time I get that, the other mafia would have been finished, or if not then I'll just wait until it's finished.

Hmm, Hedger's is going to start soon. And considering his is 13 players, I think his will be finished around end of May - early June. I'm also aware of mafia over-kill (we've had Simpsons, HP, Patient 9, WWE, Pokemon, PC and Survivor on the trot), so I probably won't start it straight after his has ended. Plus, I'll be busy with exams, although modding shouldn't be too time consuming (I think )

I'll probably start it sometime in mid-June. Say, around this time next month. So, if any of you will DEFINITLEY be busy around that time, can I get your opinion on the balance? Thanks

Tbh, I personally think it's fine. But a 2nd opinion would be helpful.

Well my exams are 15-25 July. So I dunno if I'll participate or not... but I probably will so you'll have to find someone else I think. Modding doesn't actually take too much time It's just the preparation beforehand that does.

Yeah, modding consumes much less time than actually participating. You know everything, and don't have to analyze stuff.

Just a quick update on the Smurfs Mafia - it will be co-modded by myself and Abhas. We've got the roles pretty much sorted.
