We've been putting some figures together for the prize pot and, having spent 10.85m on players you're well set to make a profit provided you avoid relegation.

Although we have spent an additional 4 mill or so on acquiring a few PC members (Pak, Arslaan, Amiya), so our total bill is about 15 mill. Might spend a bit more on PC members/upgrading Nats after the draft if we get the opportunity.

Right, big news fellas! As you may have heard, good 'ol Jaz is back in action for Man D! :) And he'll be resuming as skipper (sorry Giggity) as we aim for nothing less than victory!!

Oh, and welcome the two newcomers to the team - Covvy and 07harrisb. Covvy is an accomplished batsman, and will bolster the batting alongside Jaz, Giggity, DPRA, Jaya and Sanga, whereas Harris is an enthusiastic rookie legspin bowling allrounder. Both of them should feature in a few games, and if they remain active enough, may be able to lead us to victory.

Official announcement coming soon, and first post will be updated.

Looking forward to the season guys, by the look of things we should walk all over the rest of the competition.

Back to Back Champions??
Definitely.

Welcome to the team you two. Nice to see both here, Covvy is an active Cricsim player and is a good member whilst harris is starting to get active in the Cricket Games section.

Two good signings. :)

Right boys, we have a few friendlies being arranged, so start posting. Here's your chance to jostle for a first team spot in our opening match, he who impresses me the most gets in!

And I wanted to do a big Press Release thing, but I'll just do it this way. Welcome all new comers. Jaz is the skipper for this season, Giggity is vice. We are the former champions, and we aim to repeat the feat this season. I am very happy with the strength and balance of the squad, and I feel we'll do quite well this year.

If you haven't read this yet, then read it now. A bit of motivation we hope. Also, with the new activity = better performances feature, the more you post, the more you will play.

On that note, here is a tentative first XI:

Giggity
Jayasurya
Sangakarra (+)
Jaz (*)
PURE BAT (???)
BATTING AR (???)
BOWLING AR (???)
BOWLING AR (???)
Tanvir
PURE BOWL (???)
PURE BOWL (???)

The ??? are to be filled by whichever players are the most active. Chez and I will try and play sparingly, although we will play if we are the best option. Also, the composition of the team will vary every match. This lineup is only for if Chez and I am unable to post one. Then I expect one of you to do it. Next in line is Jaz and then Giggity, and they'll be informed before hand of the tactics we aim to use.

Our home ground will always be a Poor pitch. Keep that in mind. Also, Jaz and Giggity will be rested time to time, and if I find either one of them not keeping up with the others in terms of activity, they will be dropped.

The lineup for out HH friendly shall be the following. Chez and I sit out:

HOME LEG
Giggity
Jaya
Sanga (+)
Jaz (*)
Covvy
Amiya
Arslaan
RoboRocks
Tanvir
Skater
Pak

AWAY LEG
Covvy
Sanga (+)
Jaya
Giggity
Jaz (*)
DPRA
Amiya
07harrisb
Tanvir
Skater
WHM

Everyone gets atleast one game.

C'MON MAN D!!!

Nice to see I am in both warm-ups. Really want to be one of the top bowlers in the tournament this season.

Glad you're happy, 'cause you are sitting out against the Vaticans :p

Two more matches arranged, and we may have a game on the 13th vs. Dublin! This should get us in peak form before the season starts.

I don't mind sitting out another warm-up, think of it as giving others a chance! Should play in the opening game though otherwise I might withdraw my investment.
