Nice to see myself in both squad. Practice matches will be helpful regarding team tactics and plans for the season. Go Man D. Win it !

We're playing a lot of practice matches! Good to see that i'm already in the starting team:)

I dare say I am a bit disappointed at this squad. Apart from Amiya and Covvy, no one seems to be posting! VV are catching up on us, and we only have two people posting in the team threads!

Anyhoo, first innings against CC is up. Big chase. Can we manage it? Who will stand up and get the runs?

I know. We are still the most active side. Just been a bit quiet in the match threads.

Oh, and:

Breaking News!

Manchester Divided's Shivnarine Chanderpaul was reported injured, incurring wrist and hand fractures after a practice session yesterday.
The West Indian batsman was one of Man D's 4 international signings, and was expected to play a key role in the season to come. However, a dangerous lifter from Pak Cricketer smashed him in the right hand as he attempted to fend it off.
While the extent of the injury is unknown, what is certain is that Shiv is going to miss the entire PCPL 2 season.
Man D, who spent 1 million vCash in acquiring the unorthodox leftie, wished him a speedy recovery, and said that they would pursue their second championship even though he may be unable to play.
Man D co-owner Zorax Doom issued a quick press release regarding the issue. 'We will definitely miss his presence on the field. He is a dynamic player who can turn a match on its head, who can bat through and adds a lot to a runchase. However, he will still be a major influence backstage, and hopefully the youngsters can learn from his example. We wish him a speedy recovery.'
This leaves the former champions with just 3 Nats, although considering those 3 are Jayasuriya, Sangakkara and Tanvir, it might not be such a bad thing.

n00bs like Jaz and Zorax will have to start now :p. Not very good for you guys. Now I guess not many people will be saying Man D rules.

Manchester D rulez not rules. :p. I am a bit dissapointed on my bowling performance. Cricsim is all about average and it doesn't favour allrounders at all.

Don't worry Amiya. I've done a few trial sims, and once your stats start improving along the season, you'll be a very, very handy player. Our default XI will mean Jaya, Tanvir and 2 pure bowlers will do the bulk of the bowling. Your main job would be to add some runs, which you should be able to do, and bowl a few overs.

Good victory against Chennai lads. DPRA was outstanding, and Skater and Robo both bowled beautifully. Let's carry this form against Dublin for the Home and Away matches.
Tommorrow, we face Highveld of Division 2. Our Nats will be making their first outing in those two matches, before we wrap up the friendlies with a game against VV, where the Nats shall feature again.

Check the PM. I'm sure I messaged it to you. Use Jaz's for now.

Three friendlies so far, and we have won 2 lost 1. And the one loss by 4 runs. Excellent job boys. It's been nightmare for the bowlers so far though, but they might get more of a chance against HH and VV.

Oh, and Kshitiz, if your tactical nous is as good as your Poker skills, we have nothing to worry about. Nothing at all ;)

My Poker skills? lol Poker skills aren't judged on an online casino game where what card you draw is based on how many microseconds have passed since the unix startup time. ;)
