If it involves having to make fielders move and run, for me, that would get boring quickly. I really don't care that much about fielding. I think semi-assissted has a good balance of what you do and don't do, it could just be improved a little to make it more intuitive.

To me its what cricket is about batting bowling and fielding if you want it to be more intuitive you need to be invovled more thats why its called semi assisted it does everything for you and all you do is push a button when the fielders pick the ball up to me that has to be more boring than manual as all your doing is basically watching

I find the directional controls in manual fielding somewhat clumsy...have you got that nailed? Is it just practice?

The one thing that keeps me away from manual etc is I love to see my edges fly to the slips without any slowdown etc!

Yeah , that one of the rare Joys of Online Only Game , we dont have the little Mini Game . So looks more realistic .

Yeah takes a little bit but after a couple innings it becomes second nature

This is my first innings the AI are bowling really well remember this is on pro difficulty easy batting and Bowling difficulties and I am struggling to score I don't know why but changing to manual fielding has definitely changed the way the game plays I just wish I found this out earlier anyway its tea on day 2 and Australia are in real trouble the goal now is to avoid the follow on

Tea day 3 after a couple early wickets Sri Lanka are cruising and now have a lead of over 250 Roy Dias is again right on top of the Aussies since changing to manual fielding this game is friggin awesome can't believe it and don't know why this game has been incredible and it is really difficult to beat the AI since changing to manual fielding I have not won a game played 2 ODIS lost both and this test looks like its going to be quite a challenge to pull off might try and play for a draw difficulty pro easy batting and Bowling difficulties

Well after spending a good while playing games on manual fielding I've come to the conclusion that the game is playing like it was before patch 3 taking alot of notice that it is really hard to bowl maidens and the AI smash the last ball after bowling 5 dot balls have bowled 64 overs with no maidens also no lob shots I remember that there was never any in patch 2 and the AI are making goods totals like in patch 2 to me it seems that patch 3 isn't applied to game when manual fielding is selected dont know if that could be possible maybe @BigAntStudios or @mikeymerren could confirm if they can replicate it but am totally loving how the game is playing ATM and not really fussed about patch 4 as I am getting some excellent cricket

Sri Lanka cruising but a beautiful bowling by Australia getting 6 wickets in the session

After getting Sri Lanka out for 296 they had a lead of 391 which Australia chased down quite easy a very enjoyable match
