I have to say, despite all the banter The Mavericks have played pretty well in the first innings. Gokul scored a fierce 100 while Van Divine and Paterson played very well for their fifties. But They'll have to bowl equally well if they want to remove their "RCB lite" tag, so Lets see if that happens or not

That was a very good and steady batting by Mavericks top order. 244 in 40 Overs is above Par score in my point of view, we need steady partnership by our Top orders to chase this down. Disappointed with our bowler's performance, the way the performed in FC I expected more from the to be honest. But we have good batting Lineup, not a depth one but a strong one which will give us a fighting chance. This will be an interesting match to look out, Our squad's strength will be determined from this match especially next innings.

I still feel this won't be that easy for us to chase down as you guys suggest. 240+ in 40 overs is a defendable score. Yes, I agree we have a good batting line up, but they have two of the highest-rated bowlers of the tournament. Which we have to be very cautious about, If the Pitch helps and Our top orders make a good partnership then we will be tough to stop. But at this point its still anyone game.
True, With a bowling line up like yours, 6RPO is gonna be tough, but if we do this, then we can confidently say that we are one of the best batting line ups in the tournament.
