People pay to see Brett Lee though, he fills up the stadiums and ultimitely thats what it is about. I don't see them dropping him, especially since there is no chance to make the semis now, might as well pack the stadium and sell merchandise

And talkling about today's match it was a total team(KXIP) effort to lose that match, poor bowling , worst fielding and average score on board.
@hmarka : This not a reason to have Lee playing in team just to fill up staidums , Yuvi is enough to gather crowd if this is the case(though he is hitting or not). Having Lee in team was necessity at that time and KXIP was not in a position to take much risks at that time so they had Lee and Marsh in the side. When they were not in the team for starting matches every cricket expert had just one thing on their lips that Lee and Marsh will add life to the team and no doubt Marsh did that too

Every year we have team who is at bottom of table but that doesn't mean they are worst team. Every team has their bad year. Take some examples of Deccan, Bangalore and now Mumbai. Atleast we are not the team who has never reached Semis and I am happy with it

That was lol. We didn't deserve to win that in all honesty. But, nice blinder from Uthappa got us there in the end. Punjab look like they're doing everything wrong.

They seriously need to pick Love Ablish and Sodhi - even Cricinfo picked up on that in the preview for this match.

I would not blame Brett lee for the KXIP loss, but once again to Sangakkara's captaincy. Robin Uthappa and KP were awesome for RCB.

Sangakkara could have given to Shalabh srivastava who had picked up Kallis' important wicket and have 2 overs spell to go. same for Chawla, Yuvi and Sreesanth. Spinners had kept them in low run rate then why he went at Pathan and Lee??? Didn't get. Very poor fielding too. Against Mumbai Indians they had impressed with fielding but now they have depressed one and all.

Yuvi, Sanga and Bopara performed with bat but all went in vain.

Need to bring back Theron. :hpraise
