Thanks mate, really appreciate it. The 90's are by far my favourite decade for cricket kit designs. I haven't posted anything up here for a while now because I've been spending time working on my local club's kit to play in but I'm going to start my next lot soon. I'll probably start on a couple of kits outside of the 90's because every other kit from that time which I am interested in have been done now. And I think I'm a little more confident to start experimenting with sponsors too.

You're doing an awesome job and can't wait to see what you come up with next that is for sure. Sorry for reviving an old thread but brought this game months ago modded it then life took over and came back to it recently and saw your post/kits etc and wanted to say thanks for the effort.

Hey, I might be missing something here but how can I make the pans go maroon? They only go grey or green for me
Sorry, that would be my stuff up. It's to do with the order that I have put the colours in when I was making the shirt (ie: I had the maroon part in Photoshop as the secondary colour rather than the primary colour as it should have been to match up with the trouser templates). As I was still learning to mod at the time, it was something I overlooked.

I will upload the pants' file that I use the next time I am on the computer which has the file so hopefully in the next few days. Although all the file is is a bank colour (green I think by memory) as the pants used in those days had no logos, paterns or other markings.

Sorry again. Fixing the colours now I know a little more about modding was always on my to-do list but it just never happened.

Hey it's all good man no drama. It's an awesome kit and you did really well with it! It's my favourite West Indies kits. Personally I always preferred red/maroon for them but that kit they had in the 2000 ODI series was crap with the green sleeves and random green across the chest.

Thanks mate. In my opinion, nothing beats the kits from the 90's. It was a time when thought was actually put into the design of the shirts rather than today where all the manufacturers do is just sit down and say "how are we going to make the VB/Carlton Mid/Commonwealth Bank/etc logos stand out as much as possible".

Here is my pants file to fix the problem with the pants not matching the shirts that I have made.

Just extract the file to the folder of the pants template which you like the best (I've got mine in the Modern_01 folder but I don't think that it should make any difference which you extract it to) and you should be right to go.

OK so I know that I am breaking my own rule here but this kit is probably my favourite design outside of the 90's.

At the end of 2005, Australia signed with Adidas as their apparel manufacturer who produced (in my opinion) one of the classiest kits of all time. Whilst, Adidas was able to finally put together a kit which complimented their traditional 3 stripes down the sleeves, and also release a dedicated "away" top. This is probably one of the hardest kits I've made so far with there being so much to it (design wise). This is also the first time that I have experimented with sponsors.

Included in this download is:
  • The template used for this shirt which can be altered to the home or away colours
  • Victoria Bitter sponsor for the home shirt
  • Travelex for the Away shirt
  • And 2 pairs of pants. I have had to make 2 pairs as whilst the away top was green, Australia would keep the gold pants. As the template was the same, in the game the shirt could be changed from gold to green, however doing this also changed the pants to green. To combat this, I've created a second pair of pants with the channels reversed so if playing in the away kit, the player will always be wearing the proper gold pants.

The original sponsor that I have these replacing is "Cadastral". However, I wouldn't think it would be too hard for you to change if you would prefer.

As always, I'm keen to hear any feedback if anybody has any recommendations that they can be improved.

Awesome Work Dude. I would be glad if you make IPL 2008 kits.

Ok I've got one more kit to upload before I go back to my 90's stuff. This is something I've wanted to make for a while now.

2004-2006 Australian Domestic competition (ING Cup). One of my favourite kit designs post 2000.

As a different design is needed for each team, it is quite a big set and is set up in the new file structure of a different file for each team. To install, simply extract the files to the textures folder where your other downloads are installed

Wether you have the new file set up or not, they should still work for you. (One of the advantages of this set up).

And as always, any feedback would be greatly appreciated.

Now, back to the 90's kits!

That's classy work mate. I love these jerseys and i am glad to use them as this relives my Cricket 2004 days.

Very nice work on the ING kits Mattyyy

OK, NEXT UP

1994-1996 Australian Domestic One Day tournament (Mercantile Mutual Cup) HATS

HATS.png

These are to go with the Mercantile Mutual Cup uniforms I posted here a while ago. These was the last season that the state teams used their respective state association logo before having their actual team logo on their kits. The problem with this is that these logos have not been made for the game and I would rather not make 6 new logos and releasing a logo pack just for one kit. Therefore, I've included the logos as part of the base design. If someone ever wanted to make these logos for the game I would be happy to release an "edition 2" of these caps. But to be completely honest, I'm happy with how these turned out.

To install, simply extract the files to the textures folder where your other downloads are installed

Whilst not a fashionable sight these days, I absolutely loved these caps back in the day and there are very few things I wouldn't do to get my hands on a Tasmanian one.

I haven't seen many caps made on here so I'm keen to keep making more design to share over time. There are quite a few other designs I'm deciding on which to do next.

Hope you like them.
