Did the USA buy their way into the ICL?​

Skeptics and experts alike have raised a common question: How has the United States of America managed to get a berth in the First Division of the ICL despite the prevalence of other, stronger, countries in ICC's Associate pool, such as Canada, the Netherlands and even the UAE. The ICC have been tightlipped about this ever since releasing the details of and officially inaugurating the much-hyped International Cricket League.

We are not pointing any fingers, but perhaps the USA cricket team's newly announced sponsorship by global fast food giant McDonald's has something to do with it. The old ICC was keen to develop cricket around the world and was able to do it because of funding from the Global Cricket Council--a group of sponsors that pledged billions of dollars into the game of cricket. With the rebellious takeover, the GCC has ended their relationship with the ICC and hence the sponsorship money will not be flowing in at the end of the 2006 season.

This is where McDonald's fits in. It is believed that the burger powerhouse is looking to buy into cricket, and they consider it as having a very bright and prosperous future in the US. There are hushed whispers in the aisles of the ICC executive HQ in Dubai that a lucrative deal may have been created with McDonald's, one that allowed the struggling and controversy-torn USACA to field a team in the ICL.

USA NEW SPONSOR

USA revealed there new sponsor today and said that this sponsor could help them in the future. There new sponsor is Umbro and there new kit will be replaced by next week. Umbro said they are having a great time with the Usa and the Usa cricket board. The Usa Have earned billians so far after winning lots of games. Many People think that the MCC was Bribed by the USA to get to division 2 over Bangladesh.

The MCC deny any bribes from the USA and say that they had no idea why anyone thinks there was abribe at all. Umbro say they are the new proud sponsors and that they have signed 5 new players. R Johnson and T White are batsman. O Parker is a bowler and T smith and S Micheal are allrounders.

O Parker has been announced as the USA captain. He is very proud to be the captain and says that he will lead his team to victory. Reports have said that Umbro could be trying to match fix against other teams. The MCC said that they would never allow match fixing but still no investigation has been put into this.
