What were Benson and Young like? Young's always come of as a really good guy.

I've met

Keith Robinson (All Black, his sisters were in my year at school and he trained us for a few years).

Other rugby players, Stephen Bates, Stephen Donald, Brendon Leonard, Liam Messam, Sitiveni Sivivatu. All through Rugby growing up really.

Quite a few cricketers to, but most of them before they were "famous" I guess.

I did meet the guys of Pulp Sport once also.

What were you doing in Karachi, out of curiosity?

Vince Young was a very approachable guy, he would always stop and chat and always had a group of about 5-10 guys with him who wore these shirts that said "VY Crew"

The longest I ever chatted with him was when he was in the cafeteria and we were sitting at the same table watching sportscenter. The were discussing his performance in the Oklahoma State game on Around the Horn (sports show) and he just chuckled, I said something along the line of "those guys are idiots" and he said "sho nuff" and we chatted for about 20 minutes as we ate lunch.

Benson on the other hand thought he was the king of the world. He was playing minor league baseball while still in college and he had a lot of money coming in, so he drop a Cadillac Escalade and always had crazy rapper clothes. I met him in a gas station as he was in line with me and just said hello and wished him luck as the NFL draft was in a week or so's time. He did not come across as a friendly guy though.

My father worked for this automobile parts manufacturer (Monroe) and he went to Karachi to set up a distribution center, I tagged along and even got to go see the WC 1996 quarter final at National Stadium, RSA vs Windies (lara 100).

We stayed at the Pearl Continental I remember, a really massive building.

You've been to Karachi?

Lets see -
When I lived in Paali Hill in Mumbai:
Jugal Hansraj (Indian actor/director - was my neighbor)
Aftab Shivdasani (was my neighbor)
Aamir Khan (lived down the road)
Mani Ratnam (Director - Dad's close friend, met him in Chennai though)

Surya, the tamil actor.

Cricketers-
Sachin Tendulkar (once at the SCG in an India vs NSW match, another in Trinidad and Tobago at the 2007 WC)
Rahul Dravid
Virender Sehwag
Sourav Ganguly
MS Dhoni
Dinesh Karthik (Multiple times)
Sreesanth (very nice guy, must say)
Zaheer Khan
Ajit Agarkar (multiple times, WC and Buchi Babu tourny)
Anil Kumble
Harbhajan Singh
Munaf Patel
Yuvraj Singh (absolute prick)
Robin Uthappa
(basically 2007 wc squad)
Kapil Dev
Venkatesh Prasad
Subramanium Badrinath
Murali Vijay
R Ashwin
L Balaji
(TN Squad)
WV Raman
Abhishek Nayar (so cool :hpraise)
Dhawal Kulkarni
Ramesh Powar (again, absolute prick. He thought I didn't know Marathi and insulted south Indians in the language, little did he know that my fathers side is Marathi and I am fluent in the language. Told him off a fair bit)
Rohit Sharma (he was absolutely mobbed. Even Nayar and Badri were left alone but Sharma seemed popular.)
(Basically all of Mumbai's squad)
Kris Srikanth
Sunil Gavaskar
Brett Lee
Glenn McGrath
Ian Healy

Sanath, Attapatu, Vass, Murali, basically Siril 07 Squad. Met the Bangla boys too (Ashraful, Mortaza, etc. Not sure if Shakib was in the squad, need to check my autographs). And the Bermuda guys, who were all VERY friendly, but not sure if I can count them as famous. :p Met the big man Leverock though!

Might be missing a few. Don't think anyone would read all that though :p

For any NCAA Football fans out there I also know Larry Caper pretty well. He used to go to my high school. Really a nice guy.

I also shook the hand of a guy who shook the hand of a guy who shook the hand of Obama. Seriously, I was just as excited to do that than when I was meeting all the other people! :p

Unfortunately you went to probably the worst city in India (agra). Haven't heard good things about Malabar Hill either. You should've checked out Bandra.
