Yea oddly enough my experiences in Pakistan were more pleasant, probably because I stayed at a 4 star hotel and not some tiny apartment in the middle of Mumbai.

I am planning a trip back to that part of the world. Have a friend who just got back from Goa and he said the party scene is like nothing we have in the US.

Goa is just crazy. It's more of a resort type place.

Hit up the nicer parts of Mumbai. Bandra is awesome. Bangalore is simply outstanding, Hyderabad is really nice as well. Chennai isn't as big of a city but has a lot of cultural beauty and has some nice attractions as well.

My father worked for this automobile parts manufacturer (Monroe) and he went to Karachi to set up a distribution center, I tagged along and even got to go see the WC 1996 quarter final at National Stadium, RSA vs Windies (lara 100).

We stayed at the Pearl Continental I remember, a really massive building.

So I expect you to return whenever England tour?

Pearl Continental is, one of the better hotels, if not the best that Pakistan has to offer service-wise (and security).

It has branches in all the major cities of Pakistan, including the hillside resort of Murree.

Not sure if they have any of the more common 'recrational' drugs though (MJ), but I have heard that Goa is notorious for cocaine/heroin, if you are into that sort of thing .

Haha, well when in rome But on a more serious note, my friend said there is a lot of cheap Hash and cocaine there.

Cocaine not so much, but I have no problem with a little hashish smoking

well, you pretty much trashed india and showed a bad impression about it in a thread a few months back(i dont remember the name....but it was about india development, population, people posting skyscrapers and a guy called chainsnatcher).....i presumed you'll never set foot here again...

anyhoo....i'd suggest you visit some other places as well...like say kerela or dharamsala etc...if you of course have the time and money.

I met the whole Sri Lanka team when they played a test in Dunedin a couple of years ago.
There bus was late and they asked me and my mate if we wanted to play a fun game of cricket while they waited... One of the best experiences of my life, all really nice and hilarious guys! Vaas, Malinga and Murilitharan were crack up.
