Melbourne Bitters 06/07 Team Thread

I didn't play the 1st two games!
I've been keeping track of my record since I started.

Oh that part, now you are writing something in proper English, I would have envetually fixed that coming weekend after checking why the simulator recorded bowling stats for you.

Yeah, the simulattor has glitches, it affected you because Afridi buggered off after 2 games and the simulator can only display set number of players. That means there might be one or two mistakes for other similar players in other teams. I'll correct yours and leave the others as there are few things we just have to live with. From here on I am adding evrything manually so no issue.
The stats for active players like Brad are 100% correct though.

I personally like this idea, just with an all-rounder in the team for fc, being duff and od with duff again, hes been really good as an all rounder. Sorry aus, but id prefer to keep the 3 inactive players and let the teams who are struggling to be active have some people. The bitters have never had trouble with activity, so why try get more.

That's alright. Duff is important, most good teams have one good all-rounder, and no need for more. The dynamics of those teams are good I have to say though.

I don't like the idea of having an allrounder in the OD form. You'd be better off playing a 5th bowler for strength. I bet if you checked, the percentage of games we've won the allrounder Duff hasn't been required with the bat.

Surely we don't need 5 bowlers in a FC game? I wouldn't mind duff at 8, but that's an ordinary batting lineup

I think its a bit unfair on myself and a few other boys who are very much in and out of the team....keeping the 3 inactives....

I myself am not bothered if i become a pure batsmen or pure bowler, Mark whatever you want i'll go along with.

It won't affect whether you're in the side or not, it will only mean you get fc rather than od. I still like to have an AR in both, and duff has been here posting from the start, seems fair to keep him in, and he's always been a good player too.
