Melbourne Announce First Signing,

Earlier today, melbourne announced its first signing for next season, veteran aussie1st.

Rickyp had this to say, "well at the moment anyone joining is good news, makes it even better that hes a try aussie like myself. Welcome aboard!"

Aussie1st will slot into the no.8 batting position as a pure spin bowler and will be garaunteed a large amount of playing time.

Aussie1st is the second player in rickyP's team and he looks to be a very good pick up. This young leggie has shown real promise through the U19 ranks.

The leg spinning genius aussie1st is hoping to follow in the footstep of his idol (Shane Warne) with both batting and bowling.
He is hoping to see Warnie around in Victoria and get some tips on bowling the flipper. He also hopes to have Warne coaching him.

He already has a big ripping leg break which is bound to cause a few opposition big problems.

When asked on what aussie1st though of his new team he had this to say -
"Its great to be part of the Melbourne Superpowers. Fellow legend Warne played for Vic and now aussie1st will follow in his footsteps"

Lets see how this young leg spinning wiz goes this season.
