Melbourne Bitters Season 07 Team Thread

I follow NRL, if that counts :p
That's worse than not following AFL Simbazz, get with the program! AFL is the world's greatest sport hands down. Cricket is second, and Rugby League is somewhere between Table Tennis and Lawn Bowls.

I don't want to go down the same line again but, I will.

AFL might be a great sport for you Victorians but outside of Victoria or let's say outside of Australia to make it easier it doesn't even get a mention. Other sports like Soccer have a global following. I think the world speaks for it self.

Hey I saw that.........!

I am glad you did :D

Hey, i have played both Table tennis and Lawn Bowls!!

But no, world-wide, League is farrrrrrr better than AFL ;)

Soccer is crap!!! It should die out in south America with those dam Brazilians and let Cricket take its global position

Mate, it is huge in South Australia, Western Australia, Tasmania, and is getting bigger in NSW (look at the attendence for saturday's game at Telstra Stadium, it was bigger than most rugby matches) and QLD too. It is also very decent in NT as well. As for not rating a mention, it is a local sport but it is still a universally known sport, like NFL. People have heard of it, and it does rate a mention, not a big one but still a decent one.

By the way I fixed the poll, seems to be some issues.

Okay. AFL is a hard and tough sport to play. I have heard many people run heaps and heaps of kilometres on end in AFL games. Plus I don't completely hate AFL, I read the Specky Magee Books. They are really quite addictive.

I like the fix to the poll :D

Dean did it once so I guess it is alright if he does it...

Do you like to read cricket stories?
Are you bored and not sure what to do?

Australia takes on England and South Africa in a 10 Over Tri-Series Tournament. Who will take out the trophy and be crowned kings of the 10 Over Format?

Interested?

Then check out this thread

:cheers,

Fine then, if you'll be that way, visit MY story (with Brett_Lee), Australia in 2020, how are we going in the distant future? Find out when we take them through a futuristic season featuring the Ashes (which the Aussies are not defending), a Champs Trophy in Australia, and a WC (also not defending anymore). Who are the stars of the future?

I see that Brad has finally given up on that poll :D. I got 6 tips this week again, I'm on fire. If only I'd been smart enough to tip Essendon, which I should have, I'd have gotten 7.
