Hayden and Langers glorious first summer opening, 2001/02. Big century partnerships galore.

Perth test 2001- 4 Kiwis score tons in their first innings, plus Warne's 99.

Australia's amazing away test series wins in 2004, vs SL and India. In SL we were faced with a 1st innigs deficit in all tests, yet won all 3. Martyn was superb, so was Warne. then we go to India and Martyn once again was superb, 2 tons.

How good is Martyn in the subcontinent! And also, against teams from the subcontinent!

People wanted him dropped before that SL and India series due to his apparent weakness against spin, he showed them good!

Yeah, after reading the Wisden Almanacks a couple of years ago I found it weird how Martyn played so well in the sub continent against all team, and then played so well against teams from the subcontinent anywhere!

Great memory, but it ain't during the Aussie summer :D

My favourite recent memory was one mentioned in the OP. Graeme Smith coming out to bat at the SCG last summer with broken hand and 10 overs to survive against Mitchell Johnson who'd broken his hand in the 1st innings. Seeing him get a standing ovation put a lump in the throat. Then on top of that he and Ntini lasted for 8.5 of those 10 overs and Smith was only bowled off a crack by Mitch J.

Best overall summer though - had to be 06/07 Ashes. Had everything - amazing comeback in Adelaide, a whirlwind Gilchrist century, Warne's 700th and the mass retirements after Sydney.

Ishant Sharmas spell vs Ricky Ponting in Perth is definitely a bowling effort.

Collingwood's 206 v Austrailia, Adelaide 2006.

Yeah but are these moments that will remain in our memories in ten years time?? I don't even remember the Ishant Spell, The Sangakkara one i didn't actually watch so i don't know about that one. However i do remember the Collingwood 200. But he's English:p

So am i missing any Memorable Test Moments from 2006-2010

Also don't you all think Channel 9 or Cricket Australia should release dvd highlights of each summer like they did with the Ashes Glory one?? England have a summer review for them each year, all these memories will only remain as memories and not visual reminders if they don't bring out reviews.

Why dont you just tape the cricket like i do? Channel 9 isnt going to release dvd of summers much anymore, here's a list of summers they have released on video/dvd since 1980- not many for 30 years of cricket

1980/81
1984/85
1986/87
1988/89
1990/91
1991/92
1992/93
1993/94
1994/95
1996/97
1998/99
2000/01

then a big gap until 06/07. The official word I got is that the summer videos/dvd sold very poorly indeed, and was just not worth releasing. Hence I just tape everything myself.

You'd be lucky to get more than couple of really long lasting classic moments each season.
