When I was in uni, there was a serious, but lighthearted campaign that essentially suggested that you should check your partner (whatever gender, not just mens health) for any changes in the relevant different areas of the body while being intimate, was called something like "cop a feel for cancer prevention" or something.
It worked amazingly well, with statistically significant disagnoses in those years and students in the years after they left, it saves lives and certainly $ on the health budget. Unfortunately a bunch of religious nutjobs got the funding removed, but it's one of those things that stuck with me. The person who knows your body best is you, realistically the person in 2nd place is likely to be a partner...
