Individual - nominations
Men's Cricketer of the Year - Pat Cummins - It's incredibly hard to look past him, because I firmly believe him to be the best cricketer in the world currently.
Women's Cricketer of the Year - Deepti Sharma - Her stunning contributions, especially in Tests, are a large part of India overhauling Australia as the best team in the world.
Best Captain of the year (Men/Women) - aus: Pat Cummins - How can you look past World Championships in two formats? Also, I fully expect to be nominating Neil Brand next year.
Men's Test Player of the Year - Pat Cummins - It's far from his best year in outright bowling numbers, but that just says how good he truly is.
Men's ODI Player of the Year - Glenn Maxwell - Even if all he had done was that one innings against Afghanistan, he'd have my nomination.
Men's T20I Player of the Year - Suryakumar Yadav - Is he the best to ever do it in T20 cricket?
Men's Emerging Player of the Year - Yashasvi Jaiswal - Has debuted in Tests and T20Is this year, and been exciting in both. What a talent.
Women's Test Cricketer of the Year - Deepti Sharma - For the reasons mentioned.
Women's ODI Cricketer of the Year - Nat Sciver-Brunt - In most matches she's played, she's looked like she was batting on a different surface to everyone else. (Honourable mention for Amelia Kerr)
Women's T20I Cricketer of the Year - Hayley Matthews - Wow. What a player.
Women's Emerging Cricketer of the Year - Phoebe Litchfield - It's rather fitting that she has emerged right as Meg Lanning has faded from the Australian team.
T20 League player of the year (Men/Women) - Imad Wasim - 857 runs @ 47.61 and 41 wickets @ 22.64. Had an absolute monster year, and still being underused by the Stars.
Most Improved Cricketer (Men/Women) - Josh Tongue - has done a huge amount of work on his body and technique in order to enable his success at Test level.
Associate Player of the Year (Men/Women) - Roelef van der Merwe - Everywhere he went this year, he was a pivotal part of teams that achieved more than the sum of their parts.
Umpire of the Year (Men/Women) - Richard Illingworth - Stood in the WTC final and I think made 100% of correct decisions. Hats off.
Spirit of Cricket Award - The Australian team being completely gracious in victory; really goes to show the change in culture that Pat Cummins has been at the front of.
Best Cricket Moment - Travis Head bringing up his hundred in the World Cup final to go with his hundred in the World Test Championship.
Worst Cricket Moment - Angelo Mathews being timed out for having an equipment failure, then the ICC trying to cover themselves with a factually incorrect statement.
Best Commentator (Men/Women) - Isa Guha - She's had another excellent year, and she's even starting to win over even the very oldest farts from the viewer base. She's also excellent on both TV and radio.
