I'd say that Pak managed a far better result in India.
I expected them to lose 4-1 in ODIs and after the First Test,I actually thought they would lose 3-0 !

Its a decent performance,had it been a whitewash,Pak would have gone back to Miandad.
Btw,why don't they have Imran as the consultant ?

I agree with the post above. I think it would incredibly stupid of PCB to get rid of him after we had a successful T20 campaign. Our shortcomings in the last couple of series were due to the injuries to our players and the in house politics, not to mention the way Inzamam left, rather than bad coaching.

Yes, but communication woes are not grounds for dismissal.

If communication is the main reason-Why hire a foreign coach for a team in which half the players still give interviews in Hindi ?
E.g- Yunus Khan gave all his post match presentations in Hindi

But now alot of them can understand English. Butt, Afridi, Malik, Akhtar and a few more guys. That sucks. You have players on international level, teach them English first then get them to play cricketLmad

No problem with Lawson The PAKISTAN team's bowling has gone very low due to that they lost to INDIA.WE should not compare guys like Ifthikhar Anjum with Wasim Akram or Waqar Younis nd Malik is the wrong choice as a captain.
A captain needs to be aggressive which Malik is not.This Pakistan team if the same team is continued with new captain and same coach then they have 100% chances of winning the 2011 WC.

Finally-Lawson is the best coach(better than Chappell at least)
