Microsoft Office 2007 beta 2

It needs 512 MB, and I've only got 448 MB. Suprisingly, I've never checked how much RAM I have since I didn't buy the computer and haven't had any problems running games such as GTA. Oh well, might have to upgrade in the near future.

512 - 448 = 64

i.e. U have an onboard graphics chipset with 64Mb of shared Vram.Although Vista would run on it (min 64 MB requirement), consider upgrading it also.

Yeah consider getting a non onboard graphics card or buying more ram. Otherwise go into CMOS/BIOS and change the onboard gfx card memory but as blackleopard92 said vista needs a minnimum of 64

actually, I would say u get a newer graphics card.
increasing Video RAM doesn't affect performance much, because the graphics chip must be powerful enough to utilize all that space.

A famous example of this fact is GeForce 6600.This card gave no performance increase when its variant with 256 MB came out, simply because it wasn't powerful enough.
Then nvidia came out with GeForce 6600GT, with higher clock speeds and greater power. It shows performance increses when memory was increased to 256MB RAM.

I just got the beta installed on my comp, problem I have noticed is that the grammer checker doesn't check for fullstops or commas. If I leave a fullstop of at the end of the sentence it won't pick it up. Is there someway I can fix this?
