Exactly! Allan Border did not play like 90 years ago. Surely he is not that young?

Ha, i started watching cricket during the 1997 ashes, so yea Border was already retired.

Mike Hussey is an absolute legend, but just as much for Hussey the man as his feats on the field. Top notch bloke. Always polite with the media, trains the house down, played the game hard, but in good spirit - in many ways he was the perfect cricketer. I don't know anyone who wouldn't like Mike Hussey. I'm just sorry I never really identified him as a 'favourite' player of mine. I guess I felt I didn't have to, Hussey's greatness as a player and a gentleman spoke for itself without me needing to pump up his tyres.

Especially liked how well he has done in all formats of the game. Definitely one of the best Test batsmen Australia has had in the last 20 years (reflecting War's selection in his top 6), I had Hussey rated #34 in the best ODI players of alltime in that epic thread I did a few months back, and he's done very well in T20 cricket too.

Big test for the upcoming Aussie batsmen now. Hughes looked good last Test, lets hope the improvements keep coming.
