Most annoying retirement

What year does Jimmy Anderson actually retire? Because when i was trying to select him in the year 2010 i couldn't find him on name?

Any Help guys

Cheers

Suresh Raina for India, retired in 2010. He had just become Test and ODI best player in the world.
He average over 70 in both last year.

I think some of these players were unsigned so left the game:crying
Once, Hayden and Gilchrist hadn't retired and they were entering their 40s. :)

Not really. Because Pigeon and Warney retired when they were near the top of the rankings. (In real life)

That's because they were on their last legs. :crying

martyn gidley retired for me in this game at least...lol....in icc 2005 ashes he is more than 200 years old n plays fc cricket...but not selected for any matches for the last 150 years...lol

You go on about most annoying retirement, I had myself as a player and he played until he was 38!! Including 3 years where he had a contract at Yorkshire which was "-1 years"

This was on ICC01 so I guess it wasn't a perfect game but even still was he playing without a county??

I just hope Shiv Chanderpaul and Lara don't hang up the boots anytime soon! They are making hundreds all the time, but I reckon they won't last long in my national team. To make things worse, Chris Gayle is in terrible form and in his last 5 ODI's has only made something like 20 runs altogether! Should I drop such a "good" player?
