Uploaded Sri Lanka 1990s
An excellent squad of players that played exciting cricket, especially in the ODI format which they went onto to win at the 1996 World Cup final. The ace up their sleeve would eventually be Muttiah Muralitharan, aided an abetted by a classy array of batting talent in the brilliant, Aravinda de Silva, classy Hashan Tillekaratne, the explosive Sanath Jayasuriya, the combative captaincy of Arjuna Ranatunga, and the persistence of Chaminda Vaas to compliment Murali in the bowling department.
There were other role players here, and also included is Mahela Jaywardene who made his debut in 1997, and would continue Sri Lanka's competitive play well into the next decade. Only Chandana is missing if you want to make Sri Lanka 1996 World Cup squad.

This team was a lot of fun in the 1990s, none more so than in the 1992 World Cup when they performed above expectation, by mid decade one genuine World Class player emerged in Andy Flower, the serious dour Flower later to become England coach with success, was not a superstar but his statistics demonstrate his ability. Along with Flower he had two capable match winning lieutenants in fast medium bowler Heath Streak, and leg spinner Paul Strang. Though the weakest of the 1990s sides, they were as good as any in the field.
So if you want a challenge try using Zimbabwe 1990s which compliments the 1992 World Cup which has already been upload, though the 1992 Squad is vastly different.

Now that I have done the 1990s, 1980s, and 1970s, I will focus on the 2000s and 2010s and special sides like the 1948 Australians. My mind cast itself back to Lockdown when some of the members did the epic Lockdown Tournament held by @wasteyouryouth and how he had created all the modern day players and a magnificent draft and a fun 20/20 tournament.
My mind got to thinking, if you were running a tournament/league with the best players of the 1990s who would be in in? My hope would be to create these teams.
So I would possibly start with 8 teams of 18 players.
I would have starting positions categorized as 2 Openers, 4 Batsmen, 1 wicketkeeper, 1 spinner, 3 seamers/pace. All of these would be first rank. Then reserves. 1 opener, 2 batsmen. 1 wicketkeeper, 1 spinner, 2 seamers. So 17 in total.
Some players had dual roles, like Alex Stewart who batted and kept wicket. In this case Stewart qualifies as an opener.
So for fun I will just do a snake draft based on total runs, total wickets, total dismissals.
So to begin with as I said there would be 8 teams. I will just name them typical franchise names for now. Dragons, Tigers, Jaguars, Lions, Falcons, Eagles, Stallions. Pythons

Ill put these teams up if any of you want to do uniforms or do a better job of sorting out the 90s league I would be happy to see, especially uniform or facemakers. Suggerstions welcome, I think all the players are on the academy except I think Tikolo.
Right I am going to test this out with the Pythons vs the Stallions. Which of the 8 teams looks the strongest? Also I still could put some of the reserves in. Or another idea is to create as many teams of eleven from this pool with a generic 12th man.
Hopefully this inspires someone to take up a project. As Ive got the 70s and 80s I might do something similar when Ive posted these teams or you can put them together if you choose with your own uniforms.

Updated a few 1990s players as a result of being able to see the player skills rankings for the era much more clearly. I was able to spot one or two errors from earlier creations.
Updated, Dean Jones (AUS), Inzamam-Ul-Haq (PAK), G.Blewett (AUS), J.Langer (AUS), A.Gilcrhist (AUS), M.Crowe (NZ), R.Ponting (AUS), R.Richardson (WI), M.Taylor (AUS), S.Waugh (AUS), M.Waugh (AUS). S.Warne (AUS), C.Walsh (WI), J.Adams (WI), D.Martyn (AUS), are the main ones with one or two others.
Also added the explosive Shahid Afridi to Pakistan 90s and to the 9th Team (on academy as 1990s Wildcard)
I've uploaded all 8 teams. All have the prefix 1990s.
I've also added a 9th Reserve Team and could do a 10th as there are so many in the 9th.
I hope you enjoy these teams or your own creations, and I am looking forward to seeing the uniforms or any other ideas.
