In tests, it was 8/67 by a certain Matthew Hoggard against Australia at Lords in the 2009 (?) ashes series.
In the county championship, it was the redoubtable Muttiah Muralitharan who took 9/38 at Chelmsford to secure Lancashire the match, and promotion from the 2nd Division of the County Championship!

howzit dudes, M Bacher, an offie that changed my attack, not got all his details, coz i am at work. best bowling in an ODI, 10.4.36.9, his other two best performances are both 8fers. i play SA, busy with the 2061/62 season. what a fantastic game, i am definately addicted. still chasing all ten wickets for bowler, if i had to guess which type of bowler would get these figures, i would say that it would be a SLA, what u guys think?

It tends to be the offies or left arm slow bowlers that get the big hauls, which surprised me more when I got 10-41 with a pace bowler in less than 6 overs! See above.
