I've been playing the piano/keyboard/synthesizer for about a year and a half now. I've never ever taken piano lessons as I decided they were kind of nancy and I didn't need to learn classical stuff anyway (this is just me being stereotypical of course because I need to learn lots of stuff). However, I've had a cheap Casio WK-110 for a bit over a year now and it's done me great.
It was one strange thing that caused me to start playing the piano. I found a little interactive Flash game that had about 14 piano keys and it showed how to play the Super Mario theme on piano (really basic). I was all like 'omgz! Super Mario on piano!!!11' and ever since then I have been playing the keyboard pretty regularly.
Does anybody else play keyboard? I'm quite interested to know.. and what keyboards anyone recommends. The WK-110 has clicky plastic keys but it's great for a cheap keyboard and has some great sounds.
