My Pc Has Become Jinxed !?!?

Well this is what they have replaced in it.

Motherboard
Dvd RW
Intel Core 2 Duo
Both graphic cards


It turns out that they cant find me a Ati 1950xtx, they can only get the x1950 crossfire edition card, so they have said they will give me a free upgrade to a pair of Dual 2900XT's in crossfire. Im mildy excited about this prospect of enjoying 24 x AA, cricket 07 at 1680x1050 24 X AA 16 X AF, could be interesting.

I think I got your problem you are running 2 GPU's at only 700W PSU it should be failing your PC + you are using core 2 duo and a good cooler so it must also stress your PSU some much stress and it fails.

600W is the advised psu by ati for crossfire x1950, i had a 700W. Either way they will have to upgrade my psu for free aswell to house the dual 2900xt's.

It will be nice to have some cards that are faster than the all powerfull GTX in most cases. Hurrah!

Just arrived.

They replace updated the following.

New psu 800Watt.
Upgraded my Conroe from 6600 version to 6750 version.
Upgraded 1950xtx X2 for 2X 2900xt's 512mb.

God i love warrantys. One word, huge difference over my old cards, didnt think the difference would be this huge.

Thats enough gloating for now..........

Lol, it looks great. Its a shame that the game doesn't support my widescreen resolution though, so the screen looks a little squashed.
