I Purchased A Geforce Fx 5200 Two Days Ago
My Game Is Running Very Slowly
Plzzzzzzz Help

You see - that's the problem. One graphics card between two PC's and the game will run slowly. tut tut ...

Sorry but your graphics card isnt exactly cutting edge, maybe the only solution is to purchase a better card.
If other people have this card and dont have problems maybe there is hope. But as skateboarder says he has that card and has the same problem, maybe others who own a similar card could post their thoughts.

well i got the same card but my game runs good that means no slow effect what so ever. i bought it fom pakistan and i think it is the best card as it makes me play great games too.

i have a GEFORCE 4 440MX 64MB CARD(386 MB RAM), which is OBVIOUSLY lower than GEFORECE FX 5200.

My game runs smoothly under these settings :

Resolution : 800x600
LOD : Off(0)
Shadows : ON
AGP : 2x(earlier i had it to 4x but 2x game better FPS)

Try these and also see if u have the latest drivers.

How much you got at the moment? does you PC run slow generally? Extra ram will normaly result in an increase in overall performance up to a point. Also worth looking at how much spare space on your hard disks you have.

Hate to sound negative and burst people's bubbles but the 440MX and the 5200 are basically the same card except that the 5200 is more DX9 compliant. In terms of performance, the difference is really negligable. I know this because I have had and used both in the past.

the game is running at a normal speed with the settings suggested by tutsi , but it was running better when i didnt hv this geforce
