Seems like a very strange perspective to play a cricket game from, a top down rectangle - though if the batting is based on swiping across the screen based on shot placement that might work well - still it'd probably feel a bit more natural on something a bit oval shaped.

Obviously I see what you're trying to do with the design in terms of the Big Bash side of things, but I think a layout more akin to something like the attached would be more 'cricket'.

Thank you very much for opinion and help :) , we did experiment a lot with different field sizes and shapes. We started off with a circular/oval shaped field which was fairly similar to yours, and one that was bigger than the screen, which meant the camera moved with the ball, but considering this is more of an arcade style game, we decided it would be right to just go with a rectangular field that fills the screen.

The batting is more of a timing based system, which we based off this game, even though it is a fairly average game, we found it pretty addictive and it could work well if implemented correctly.

Anyway, thanks a lot for your ideas, and I love the fact that you put together that image for us :D , and it looks awesome. :cheers
