sangam is right everything costs money and to use fifa and rugby engine costs a lot of money...

so EA will bill themselves for their own technology? think a little before you post.

why dont ea get like ramiz raja and ravi shahtri todo the commentary... u canhire them for cheap.....

secondly, blic spend money too... they got quite some commentators to pay and they are expensive ones too...

lastly, if you can't fixed the bugs then why do EA have to say in the interview that they have fixed last year's bugs.

I dont care abotu how the players look and how muscular they are but their should be more option for example game speed option... i think for me the game is too slow..last year's nba live also released in canada they so many features and it was quite fun to play

well even before seeing the video (Your reviews have filled my appetite) I think i wont buy the game. My mind will only change after playing the demo. So dont expect any patches for it from me:D

Completely bogus. That pro evo soccer had crappy commentary but I love the gameplay and I play it often. Ridge Racer 5 had tragic commentator but loved the gameplay.

For graphics - what grass are you eating ? People are dying for PS3, XBox360 primarily because their graphics are approaching realism....
Looks like you like to see cartoons more than realism.

hello mr he was completely right..i shud ask u what grass u eating???still u supporting EA's cricket 2005??hehehe..gud luck to yo

You know what I really cannot stand? When the ball deflects off the pads to the boundary, then Maxwell says it's "4 byes, the wicketkeeper won't be happy about that", and then, JUST AS THE UMPIRE IS SIGNALLING 4 LEG-BYES" Richie Benaud pipes in with "yes that's 4 byes". It's bugs like that which leave you with a deflated feeling - because it's just downright sloppy.

This is why EA annoys the absolute CRAP outta me.

that was the ****ing most crap piece of **** i have ever seen. the thing that ****s me off the most is this andrew wilson and the ways he answers all the questions with blatant lies!
that video confirmed exactly what i thought, and that is that this game is ****.
i mean the run rate is still not updated after every ball. how basic is that to fix.
at least BLC will have new bugs. and who gives a **** about names if you can edit them. PES4!!!!

Woooooooooooo,First post and and 5 bad words to go with it,
Cool it down and If it wasnt for Andrew Wilson you wouldn't have been playing cricket games for past 6 years.

Sangam sorry to debate but how is that the developers and testers aren't to be blamed? Someone like Andrew may lead the team but he is not going to sit and code the product. All he is going to be keen is with selling the game and making a profit out of it.

Why should anyone excuse the EA team when they couldn't get scorecards in Cricket 2004 right? They even erred in tallying the scorecard. The scores don't even tally many a times. The stats were added in Cricket 2004 and how buggy that is? In test cricket after a fall of wicket a player slides right in the middle of the pitch watching the bowler. Shouldn't this be fixed by the development team or should they just go by what is documented for them? Fielders are found standing next to each other at handshaking distance if you score a four in Cricket 2004. How did the testers failed to notice it? The original CPU AI runs itself out for less than 20 runs and how come they didn't sort that out before they even released a game. If the team is inept in delivering a solution and a Project manager unable to recognize such incapability then the end product is something like Cricket 2005 you get. If you have been working in gaming industry you will definitely know the specs aren't one time doc, they undergo changes in a timely manner. There is unit testing, functional testing and beta testing. I don't really want to go through the project life cycle here but just making sure people do understand there are standards in software industry and it is not a bloody cow boy job. If you can't set higher standards then you come up with products like Cricket 2004. Due to pressure EA always rushes the game and neither it is ethical nor is it proper management. Do they even release a patch for these bugs? Absolutely not either because they don't have capacity enough to touch the code again or they fear if they change something it may have major impacts on the game as a whole. Once sold they care a sh*t about the buyers really. When a product like this goes horribly wrong the entire team takes a hit, no one can hide whether it is a developer or a marketing team. I am very happy HB isn't developing software for bankers otherwise paupers could go millionaires and vice versa.

Eventually it melts down to freakin excuses for not having delivered decent enough games for over 5-6 years now by EA.

i dont have a problem with him making cricket games its just if he answered questions honestly other than lying or avoiding the question. Then we wouldnt need to see a video to tell that this game, from what i can see, is just ck2004 with buffed up graphics. Taken from other games i might add.

oh and i could use a lot more than 5 bad words to describe how i feel.

there you go crick4life said it

Then u must have liked the game XIII ;)

Didnt try it out. Will try it and tell you if I liked it or not!

I dont say that good looking graphics always have an edge over realistic graphics. Its the most least important for me. And I surely like BLIC more than EA C2k5's graphics.

hmmm i stuck up for this game in the beginning but this viedo has changed my views :(

this video shows cricket 2004 with better graphics, same comentary, same Keeper who looks like he's been bought up from U/12's to fill in

somebody paid to implement that technology initially and it sure wasnt you. you should be happy ea decided to bless cricket with it, cause otherwise no one else really cares to.
look at BLIC it looks like robots are playing that game.
thats something for you to think about
