All of EA Sports' previous efforts have been utter s**t, and this game has been in development for all of nine months. It won't be changed much, and bugs are a permanent feature of EA Sports' cricket series.

Tell me something...Are we in the past? Is it 2004? or 2002? Those are previous efforts by EA. And might I add, it wasn't even EA Canada that were developing the game. EA Canada develops most of the fantastic EA games that are on the market right now. And once again, you dont know if there will be bugs or not, you dont know how the game will turn out as yet. Right now you know sh!t to be completely honest. Stop making assumptions. That was then this is now... Try to get that into your thick skull.

Cricket 2002, Cricket 2004 and Cricket 2005 are all developed by HB Studios. They are based in Canada and now are owned by EA so I suppose you could call them EA Canada but its still the same company.

However I do agree with you, there is nothing to say that Cricket 2005 might be an improvement on Cricket 2004 and although the reviews havent been fantastic they havent been awful and have suggested it is more of a simulation than an arcade cricket game which is surely better.

EA i'm sure do care about bugs in the game and wouldnt leave them in the game by choice so hopefully they will have sorted things out for Cricket 2005.....next week we will know!

Yea i agree>>>the orginal BLC cricket waz great but that waz all that code-master gaved us on the other hand ea' gaved us cric 95,,99, 2000, 2002 , 2004, they had bugs i agree, but back then the cricket games Market was'nt such a great thing to invest in and they didn't gave up hope like codemaster did....

i think we should be more worried about buying BLC 2005 cuz we dont know what to expect ............with cricket 2004 we had found all the bugs in the game so atleats EA had something to work with and improve.....instead codematers are starting from scratch and then they would wait for the bugs to be found after its realeased

thats all im trying to say man :D

I think if there is no serious bug in this game ,this game will have a lot of potential .As it has some missing features which blic dont have. But I will say that enviornment of BLIC is looking more exciting.I will get both.I hope Ea will learn from past mistakes.

I just dont trust HB and EA. Espeically after the no show of the demo.

if they are not releasing a demo doesn't mean the game will be bad.
and if you are supporting BLIC,have codies released/going to release
a demo of BLIC?

Yes, if you haven't read the news already, its due for next week, where you can play 1 match; as/between autralia, west indies and england at the oval in the champions trophy mode, 6 overs aside, which means you get to bat and bowl.

yes you are right they surely "gaved" us cricket games :D

i think EA may have worked a little harder this time around. I know i am going to love it if its more of a simulation. people who understand cricket would love nothing short of a hardcore simulation and thats what seems to b the case this time around.
