IPL New purchases

I'd also second closing. This is getting too much.
Assuming you are an Indian.Still supporting them? :rolleyes
@parth exactly,well said buddy ;)
@yudi keep going,you're doing a great job :D

Please understand that I'm not supporting anybody.

The IPL is under suspicion, and will always remain under suspicion, unless some radical steps are taken. I'm not claiming that IPL is fixed, I'm saying it could be fixed.

And please don't try being aggressive.

How about everyone just stick to the topic at hand - what players would be good signings for the next season of the IPL.

Further discussion of Match Fixing and other issues goes in the appropriate threads elsewhere. I also note that instead of continuing an argument you think is getting out of hand, report the posts in question before it becomes a big debate.

Alright.

So lets get back on track people.

Finally, this thread will again be a good place to discuss things on topic rather than making allegations and counter allegations. I hate the last viceroy of undivided India, Lord Mountbatten for his 3rd June plan.

what ab at mumbai :mad:(:noway. first of all ab is a quality player for us best player at moment in the planet and a best finisher. even though if mumbai brings ab then their batting line up will be most experience in ipl :eek:

There is no doubt he is a fantastic player but if Mumbai let go an allrounder like Franklin who can boost the balance of RCB, they might well transfer AB to MI. Moreover, MI needs to give Ojha far more chances. You can't just keep your Rolls Royce in the garage.

good point, but giving Ohja a chance means dropping Bhajji (IMO good). So you can get an Indian allrounder for depth in bowling and batting

There are already plenty of allrounders in MI but you are right that they need someone who can slog lower down the order as MI more often than not find themselves in crisis but then I no bowling allrounder comes to my mind who can be a part of such a great bowling attack that MI possess. May be MI should get Mitchell Johnson back. He can be excellent for T20 in bowling and he can bat as well. AB/Umar Akmal and Mitch coming in for Bhajji and Franklin could be a great deal.

I Think CSK Must buy a good depth bowler as their depth bowling has been poor in many occasions !

I don't think so. Their coach and former Australian allrounder Andy Bichel too told that they lack quality finisher but then aren't the likes of Raina, Mike Hussey, Dhoni, Albie and Dwayne some of the great finishers around? I don't think they lack anything in terms of squad balance. What they really lack is consistency.

are you alright rcb need to get franklin in for ab ? :rolleyes you might be kidding first of all franklin bats really slow even mumbai fans were hating him not to see him in the playing line up and also he is not bowling to much in this days and you want rcb to get him in place of ab ? who is a quality player great finisher ? :noway

You are right but RCB needs a bowler as well and if that trade doesn't fall in place, Umar Akmal is another great man to have. He can keep wickets as well so if Karthik is not in form, he can take over given the fact that Rayudu has not done much of the keeping job for MI for some reason. He is a decent keeper, Rayudu.

He did the keeping work the previous season, right?

ya :yes

in my view we rcb need a indian experience pace bowler may be agarkar can do. :p and here and there we have great chance of getting ross back as delhi have got so much experience players in their line up

^agarkar is now old, you need someone like Umesh Yadav or Aaron

Taylor, AB and Gayle would be a deadly batting line-up.
