New Zealand Premier League XIII

That was bullshit. Yet again, huge opening partnership and then collapse. How on earth does that happen? Horse ████. I'm dropping the lot of them.

Lol, while watching the match sim I thought you guys were well on track for around 300, but yet again your middle order failed to deliver the goods.

But still, looking at our batting line up and how comfortably we chased this total down, may be 300 would also have been chased down. :p

TBH I CBF working out how many games in a row each player has played, so the final round injuries will work as follows:

* They will occur after the next round, and will all last for one game being the tenth round.
* Your injured player will be randomly generated from the group of players that have all played in the most games for you.
* Every team will receive one injury.
* All players who have previously been injured are safe.

Well,Daniel Vettori should have been batting at #5.
A much needed win for the Aces.
Well bowled Jimmy Anderson.

In OD cricket I feel that Afridi and Mascarenhas would be better, whereas in FC Vettori is superior.

Did not expect the loss but I think I am still top of the table so meh

i object to these rules; cant afford injuries to key players right now.

You're already in the play-offs, and there are no injuries in the play-offs.
It's just one player, for one round.

I'm not going to give anything away... :p

Now I need to win this game to go tied with Bay Of Plenty with one match to go. Bevan Griggs and Chris Cairns will be the openers with Nathan Hauritz, James Anderson and Kumar Sangakkara all being rested for that match, as he doesn't want to risk an injury to them going into the final round.

Yes, very interesting move opening with Cairns.
I do feel you have some what wasted him at times, batting him down at seven/eight.
He batted most of his New Zealand one-day career at five/six.
On a positive for you guys, BOP have no bowlers who have taken more than one wicket averaging under 35...
You really have to look out for their top five, look at those averages!!!

ok then sweet :)

Sorry to burst your bubble, but actually if you lose both your remaining games, the Aces win both their remaining games, and the Blondes beat the Magpies, it'll all come down to net run rate.
So pretty much you need all four of the remaining northern conference games to go against you, for you to have a chance of not qualifying.

CG123 added 8 Minutes and 17 Seconds later...

As it's still school holidays for the next week, this one round a day will be continuing.
So please get your ninth round line-ups in ASAP.

lol thats nice, our goal's to win atleast one of our remaining games that'll secure us in the play-offs. :upray although i dont think our run-rate is that bad.
