I thought I had Taylor and Beard to rest going into the final two rounds so my plan was to rest one in each round. It's bad enough that I just realised Nicol needs resting too but I don't want to be resting my best 3 local players.

I done that once before a few seasons back, when someone made a change to their number 11, but I missed it, probably due to the same reason.

AB totally cut loose today with great support from Cameron White (what a season he's having as well!) and Angelo Mathews in the end.
Thought Tuffey bowled really well on a pitch where all the bowlers struggled a bit.
Little bit worried about Pietersen's form though.
And finally,we have our hands on the Hadlee Shield!
Its highly unlikely that we are going to be displaced from the top after the last round because BOPV are bound to lose the next game (as all the key players need to be rested)
So,a pretty comfortable position to be in.
