New Zealand Premier League XIII

I had him at #7 last season, and I generally having this preference of giving depth to batting, and Harris at #8 only helps that cause. What do you suggest anyway? :) Also, I dunno who's better rated with the bat among Harris and McCullum...

Right then, Harris and McCullum will just interchange their positions in the batting order in that case. Thanks guys! :)

My likely XI

1. Michael Papps
2. Craig Kieswetter+
3. Jacques Kallis
4. Ross Taylor*
5. JP Duminy
6. Kane Williamson ^
7. Colin de Grandhomme ^
8. Andre Adams ^
9. Ryan Harris ^
10. Trent Boult ^
11. Saeed Ajmal ^

Depending on the pitch type, ronnie hira is likely to come in at 9, and hopefully the opening combo works out, not too many options available if it doesn't.

hmmm haven't really had a look at my team composition. Lets see now...

5. Shivnarine Chanderpaul
6. Daniel Vettori ^
7. Peter McGlashan +
8. Brett Lee ^
9. Dale Steyn ^
10. Neil Wagner ^
11. Graeme Aldridge/Michael Bates ^

Well I have no back-up for my out-form batsmen and the batting is quite thin which is a draw-back.

How you brand your batting lineup to be 'quite thin' is really beyond me! Easily the best batting lineup if you ask me.

All you need is one back-up and you have Tendo as an optional candidate in your playing XI. So yeah, play him while resting the other. Solved.

Not sure about the final lineup but this is how my team looks like

1. Craig Cumming
2. Kumar Sangakkara +
3. Michael Clarke/Virat Kohli/Ramnaresh Sarwan(If others didn't perform)
4. Peter Fulton
5. Jamie How
6. Shakib Al Hasan ^/Kruger van Wyk +/Hamish Marshal
7. Jacob Oram ^ (c)
8. Internation options - Ravichandran Ashwin/Kulasekara, Local options - Brent Arnel/Bruce Martin ^
9. Morne Morkel ^
10. Lance Shaw ^
11. Daryl Tuffey ^

Batting order may change.

1. Ricky Ponting*
2. Jono Trott/Gautam Gambhir
3. Rob Nicol ^ (only during poor pitches)
4. Lou Vincent
5. Angelo Mathews ^
6. Darren Broom
7. Nathan McCullum ^
8. Chris Harris ^
9. Mitchell Johnson/Andre Russell/Ajantha Mendis (poor pitches) ^
10. Zaheer Khan ^
11. Mark Gillespie ^

Basically, I'm stacked with quite a number of fillers in my squad. :p
Todd, Corey Anderson, Derek de Boorder and Dewayne Bowden to be precise.

I still sugget you give me McCullum and take a NZL dom batsman in return. You have got plenty of bowling options, but batting looks thin tbh.

I'm absolute devoid of local spinners during the time of poor pitches. McCullum is my only go.

You have Mendis and Nicol how many more do you want? :p

you have only got three genuine batsman.

Nicol's a local back-up dude, McCullum's our main spin weapon. :p And I'm really not fussed on my batting line-up tbh, this's almost the same batting lineup that went all the way last season.
