I reckon it's 'cause it's way easier to just copy the link of the player portrait from Cricinfo rather than looking for a pic and then having to resize, upload to a photo sharing website etc. Also he's trying to get through these matches as quickly as possible.

Yeah, well I've got no idea why the teams batting first couldn't bat for ----. I was expecting one or two games to be like that, but in testing I got a decent majority of scores up around 250, and there were even some 250+ poor pitches.

At times it gets purely random although the ratings you give does play a crucial role. Personally I dont see the issue with poor pitches in the sim I had worked.
Rather dissapointed with the batting performance once again - maybe its the pitch but we are not getting enough match winning scores yet and a reshuffling might be due.

I did the ratings that same way that I've done in the past. Tbh I don't actually mind it being slightly bowling dominated, but the thing that concerns me is that the team chasing won four out of four matches there very easily. In the practice matches however only three out of the eight matches were won by the team chasing, so hopefully this round was just an obscurity.
I guess I'll just wait and see how the next few rounds go. I can always make changes if this continues since they'll be constant across all of the teams.

Extremely pleased with the performance.
293 was a good total to have on board,thanks to Michael Clarke,who anchored the innings brilliantly and Elliott played a good cameo as well,but it was never a safe total given how strong Waikato's batting is and also given the fact that they were chasing.
Another strong bowling performance ensured that we defended the total pretty comfortably, although they were in the hunt until Williamson got out.
Good effort by Patel again,this time in unfavourable conditions.

Captain Fantastic Alastair Cook does it again (as he did it for me in the EPL with Liverpool)! Excellent win first up, Finn pretty much proving to be the only disappointment. Watson obviously needs to contribute more. And slightly disappointed Swann didn't bowl his entire quota of 10 overs.

Clinical stuff from our bowlers - Southee, Morne & Nicol. Jays gave us a sluggish start and Rosco also struggled, but Misbah put our chase on the right track with a well paced knock.
