Their batting order was too good and they batted us out of the game. Great knocks by Nicol and Taylor, specially after the top two failed, the latter failed to keep-up to the run-rate though, we wouldn't have got close if not for him. We'll need to bounce back from this dreadful slump otherwise it'll prove to cost us dearly.

It's about time our top two overseas batsmen clicked together. AB de Villiers finally played his part with that innings. Kohli scoring his fifth half century of the season is something to cheer about. The main thing I am really concerned about is Williamson's form despite his two good looking half centuries he hasn't been at his best. We need the captain to lead from the front to win more games.

The bowlers especially our two main pace bowlers Martin and Gul were all over the place this time. Mendis and Bruce did the damage this time. Bruce's little knock down the order got us to a respectable total which the bowlers were able of defend.

I really like it how you have a winter transfer window. Had it myself during LMS IX and X. Enables the managers to make a few additions to their almost-well-settled XI.
