The FA Premier League have todayy announced that as the 'big 4' were just controlling the league every season, the FA Have today announced that all Players in the Premiership, Championship, and League 1 have been released from there contracts, this also goes for players from such top leagues as Spain, Italy, Germany and Scotland.

This is what the FA Had to say:

"Well, the premier league was getting boring, it was the same 4 teams every season, Man Utd, Chelsea, Arsenal and Liverpool, and this was decreasing our viewing figures, so, in order to make our league more attractable, we have decided that every player has to be released by there team, so they are all free agents, then can then be approached from any team that wants them, all they have to do is either accept or decline the contract offer, this should then improve the competitiveness of the Premier League, and you could have a team that would have been relegated if we hadn't changed it to a team that could win the league and enter into the Champions League."

Lee Sweetman then had this to say:

"Well, I am a free agent, so you never know, any top team could approach me, however, I would love to manage in the premiership for certain, but, if the oppertunity isn't there. then I can take it from outside of the premiership. I would just love to get back into the game as soon as possible."

There are a few teams with no managers, and they are:

Blackburn
Fulham
Bolton
Newcastle
Derby
Sunderland

Could any of these teams approach Lee Sweetman to manage them to Premiership glory?

Now, this is the problem I had when I downloaded it.

Ok, Download it and Extract it into my documents.

When it is extracted open the folder and then you should see another folder called 'Free Agents DB'

Copy that folder into mydocuments/sportsinteractive/footballmanager2008/db

And, then start a new game and select the database when asked to.

That should work, if not PM me.

Magpies annouce new Manager.

Newcastle United chairman Mike Ashley has just announced the new manager for the up and coming Premiership campaign.

Newcastle announce pre-season games

Newcastle Manager Lee Sweetman has today announced the pre season games that Newcastle shall be playing in before the start of the 2008-2009 season.

When Lee Sweetman was asked who would be going with the team to France he said that all the Under 18 Squad would be travelling untill all transfers were complete.

Well, the Legends database has corrupted, so I can't do that. I have the PC United one, this one, and I am having a little bit of a break from the speedway game, if not I would have finished it too quickly.
