Nov 17-20: Australia A v England XI at Hobart

Copeland sounds about right. Who else has got wickets? Butterworth?? I'd be surprised. Maybe they could pick someone like Scott Walter. That's about the only name coming to mind that might challenge Copeland.

Feldman has a record that rivals Copeland, ironically he too has been made 12th man. But hes still behind him, really there is no one with the record he has and he certainly deserves a chance. Quite funny how the NSW bias thing works for players that don't have the record but when they do they end up not being picked.

No need to look elsewhere, it should be Copeland. In fact Copeland should have been the first bowler picked.I'm just wondering has selectors have a really good look at Copeland,i mean stats aside( and the stats are in his favor) he looks a better prospect than George.

Agreed that Copeland should be the replacement, though I think Cutting deserves a mention.

Marsh = new Shane Watson. Is there a year Marsh hasn't picked up some sort of injury??

Cowan deserves that call up after his season. And nope can't remember a season where Marsh isn't injured, he needs to give Watson a call to get his career back on track.

I hear Harris is with the Aus A squad and most likely the man to replace Starc. Seems a bit strange why he wasn't there in the first place then.

Think it depends on Harris' knee. Was reading this morning that it swelled up quite a bit after his game v Tassie. I'd say that's what the selectors are waiting on re: the Aus 'A' game, see if the knee pulls up OK in the next couple of days. But even if Harris can be fit for it, I'm not sure I'd make him play if his knee is still an issue. Don't force him to do too much too soon.

I'm really looking foward to watching this A game. I'm happily suprised to see it's on Channel 9.

All hamstring/lower back problems, very similar to Watson's core strength weakness. Needs to lay off the weights, do some pilates.

I'm hearing McKay has joined the Aus A side. Hes got the performance under his belt just makes me wonder if the selectors even know Copeland exist. Anyway hopefully the weather is good in Sydney and Copeland can continue to push his case.

The trend of baffling decisions by the selectors continues.

England have rested their frontline bowlers so will be Aus A vs an England A bowling attack. Still should provide a good test for the contenders for the batting spots.

I think the inclusion of McKay is a good one. He's taken wickets in the ODI games recently. Clearly, the selectors think highly of him.

I'd actually say hes dropped down in the pecking order. Before he was in front of George, Starc and Cameron now hes moved below them. The selectors clearly weren't impressed by his Test debut as he hasn't really done much wrong apart from that.
